Had sort of a reunion dinner with bros last nighttt. Unfortunately half of them weren't there. Lol, what a waste.
Nevertheless, the moments we had were priceless. Had loads of valuable conversations and all.
I didn't knew that sky garden @ esplanade was that romanticccc. Hahaha gay night.
Ever heard before the word "bromance"? I love the word. But yet again, b-romance means BEFORE-ROMANCE as well.
So yeah, when we're all grown up, we'll distance with one another sooner or later. Life moves on just like this hehe.
Memories are permanent snapshots stucked in our head. We'll only forget when we don't reflect over them constantly.
Reminisce on those that are worth it, leave the rest all in the unconscious :)

Go all out.
Now that we're here, so far away.
All the struggles that we thought was in vain.
All the mistakes, one life contained.
They all finally start to fade away.
What I've learned for the past few phases in school was all meaningful.
Too many interesting shits happen every now and then.
& I realized that, the greatest failure ain't failing at things you aren't good at. But achieving in things that don't matter at the end of the day.
Why? Doing the things that doesn't satisfy us is plain stupid. Conforming to the standards of the world just because of peer acceptance, is a total bull.
Because of affiliation, we compromise. Because of the veneer recognition that we wanna attain in the eyes of man, we inflate our accomplishments. Because of the pressures of the world, we hold back to prevent being judged.
We forsake our motto in life, too much.
Bottom line is, fight for the things that you want, not the things that you should.

Worldviews.
You whispered that you were getting tired.
Got a look in your eye,
tells me like its goodbye.
So hold on to your secrets tonight.
Lie to me and tell me that we're gonna be alright,
and lie to me and tell me that we'll pull through the night.
A little reflection over the jap's trip.
The best moments weren't Disney, weren't the group gatherings, weren't the snow.
But it's at..
Starbucks. Alone. While the rest went shopping LOL.
Weird isn't it? hahahaha.
It was around 11 degree celcius at that moment. Decided to take a chill pill outside the store instead of enjoying the warmth inside.
Looked up and saw this beautiful view across the avenue:

Atmosphere was calm yet certain.
Everything felt so right and peaceful. The only sounds made were the railway tracks, foot steps of the crowd walking pass the store and the strong winds brushing the leaves of the trees.
This was taken at Shinkuju, one of the busiest district in Tokyo. Countless of shops and offices. Times Square, Takashimaya is the huge building on the left, and the one of the right.. Ain't really sure whats the name of that clock tower hahaha.
I realised that. There's a vast difference between our naked eye and cameras can capture. Sometimes being present in that particular scenery brings individuals to another realm. But when snapshots of pictures are taken by tools like the camera, it no longer feels the same.
Yet again.. with the aid of equipments, we could see micro-bacterias that our naked eyes can't.
Humans in general, expect a lot in life. So much so that one takes things for granted as always. Events and all becomes boring, in search of exclusive materialistic desires that will satisfy them temporarily.
Lol, Christmas season for example? So many people ranting off their fbs statuses on how lonely and pathetic their lives are without a special somebody(steadies maybe) to celebrate with.
Gotta look into the 'micro' of life instead of the 'macro' at times.

Systems after systems.
was at kinokuniya for the past 2 days. Stucked there for hours after hours, jotting down notes about it and all. lol.
"How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes" by Peter D. Schiff. Was really a refreshing experience. Talking about the selfishness about people about personal gains and such.
It reflects on 3 people. Started off as fishermens and the currency they used are "fish notes".
Basically, the book was depicting the storyline in the United States.
Well, other than analytical benefits from the book, there are several moral pricipals that served as 'retrieval cues'. things that really pointed it all out on my face.
"Materialistic wealth can satisfy human's desire only so much."
Haha, in fact, i'll be heading Japan this coming week.
Tokyo, Disney Sea? Osaka, Universal studio?
Lol, actually frankly speaking. I was least interested in going initially. Aunt Meiling, had a chat with me. Was about family bonding.
You see, not to boast but i mean, all these material wealth will never satisfy you in the long run.
This is gonna be the 3rd country im travelling abroad this year. I mean, crazy isn't it? Like how fortunate I am but yet so dissatisfied about life. But yeah, aunt ML was right. Memories with family will be the one that remains.
& material wealth and other shits will just be a medium that facilitates the event of nurturing memories.
Sometimes it ain't about striving for the best.. maybe it is all about trying our best to fight for our love ones.

Midnight train.
2 types of personality.
A "thinker" and the other, a "feeler".
the harder the person thinks, the weirder the person behaves. Or rather, doing things uniquely. Why?
Because the person's worldview belongs to a different platform in comparison to the society.
& the more intimate the person "feels", the more he/she has the tendency to find a community. Simplicity takes root in the heart of that person. having a kind heart etcetc.
Yes, affiliation is widely sought after. But I believe through self-actualizing, it brings life to the other side of the coin.
Everyone is growth oriented and has the tendency to pursue goals that are deemed pleasurable in their eyes.
I believe all humans are generally good in nature. But if performance traps such as societal pressures are acting against them, they'd turn nasty.
Defense mechanism within the person's mind is triggered, causing them to backstab.. pulling people down.. etc.
Being associated in a large community brings warmth. But walking down that narrow road alone opens our blinded eyes.
Which side do you wanna go?
Or, which side are you in?
There is no such thing as having the best of both world :)

Permanent.
Will you think that you're all alone,
when there is no one to hold your hand?
When all you know seems so far away,
and everything is temporary, rest your head.
Your heart is a muscle, squeezing blood, in and out.
A muscle that will wear out eventually.
Bit by bit, we'll learn new things through the exposures of life.
We'll condition ourselves to what we've experienced.
Each of us is allocated only a certain number of heartbeats before our heart stop altogether.
How will you plan to live the rest of your life?
Find your personal meaning.
Find your existential purpose.
"Move on with life then."

Empathy.
Typing down thoughts at this point of time isn't really a wise thing to do.
Lol, school is damn hectic right now.
So I had dinner with a friend at about 10.30pm.
School is always from 9am till 7pm at least. & when im back home, it gets so moody, lethargic and all.
Had one of the best talks, hidden emotions were triggered unintentionally lol. Putting oneself in another person's shoe really do help. No matter how strong the person's personality is, that person wouldn't be strong all the way through.
